Pedigree Catowl trainer

Story: Catowl is a fantasy creature that sports features of both cat and owl. What a fantastic creature! As a fan of both cats and owls I wanted to create a portrait of someone who trains these fantasy creatures.
As a design challenge I wanted to keep as much of traditional semi opaque feel to my digital painting as if it had been done with water dissolved acrylics on heavy paper.
